Railyard

A home for your coding agents.

Run Claude, Codex, Pi and OpenCode side by side, sorted by project and repo. You see at a glance which agent works and which one needs you. A daemon runs them, so they keep working when you quit the app.

All your agents in one window

Projects hold repos, and repos hold agents. Each agent keeps its own plan, todo list and log.

Chat or terminal
Claude and Hermes open as a native chat, with tool calls, plans and permission cards. Terminal programs such as Claude CLI, Codex, Pi, OpenCode or a shell run in a real terminal.
It keeps working
A small daemon runs your agents, not the app. Quit Railyard, and your agents continue. Open it again, and you see where they are.
One list of what needs you
Permission requests and questions from all agents wait in one place. Answer them in turn, and each agent continues.
Agents that work together
An agent can start child agents for parts of a task and send messages to other agents. Agents can also run on a server over Tailscale, in the same project.

Install

Three steps, then add your first project.

  1. Open the DMG and drag Railyard to Applications.
  2. Get the tools. Railyard needs Node 22 or later and tmux: brew install node tmux. Install and log in to the agents you use, for example claude.
  3. Open Railyard. It installs its daemon at the first start.

Railyard updates itself. When a new version is out, the sidebar shows it. Click Update, and the app restarts in the new version. Your agents keep working.

Each release is on the changelog.
